1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 yellow onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch piece fresh ginger, minced
1 package Yves Veggie Ground Round
1/4 cup water
2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce, (gluten-free if preferred)
1 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 packages Tilda Lime and Cilantro Rice
2 green onions, chopped
1 handful fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1. In a large skillet or frying pan, sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger in oil for about 5 minutes, until the veggies soften and begin to brown..
2. Add the Yves Veggie Ground Round and break it up with your spoon into crumbles. Now add the water, soy sauce, brown sugar, and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook until lightly browned and heated through
3. Heat the Tilda Lime and Cilantro Rice according to package directions.
4. To serve, divide the rice among 4 bowls, top with the Yves Veggie Ground Round mixture. Garnish with green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds. Serve hot!
